I had a great stay at HHK Istanbul. The staff was very friendly, forthcoming and helpful. The room was nice, but you could hear everything happening in the surrounding rooms, but as the night settled down so did also the noise. I would definitely stay here again. The definitely highlight, after the staff, was the roof terrace with a wonderful view of the city. This, and the pool, was the reading for my choice of hotel. It was also very budget friendly, and I would recommend anyone to stay here. It is also easy access to Public transportation. Metro, bus and boats are within ten minute walking distance. 10/10 value for money. Great experience :)

Breath-taking views, friendly staff, nice rooms, great location. Only downside was the Wi-Fi and air con weren’t that effective. Overall would definitely recommend.

This is a clean pleasant hotel with wonderful views. The rooms are a little tired but ok - Good shower and AC. The streets around the hotel are very run down akin to a shanty town with begging kids but just sad not dangerous. A very steep incline to the hotel - so if not able bodied get a taxi I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place for the cost.

We stayed there for 4 nights. Overall we would rate 8 out of 10. Area not the best even it's central part of the city, and very dark streets around there at nights, good to have a flashlight. But hotel has cameras all around for safety. Members of staff excellent, very caring and polite, helpfull and willing to provide the best service, open 24/7. Specially welcoming member of staff was Ibrahim. The view from there is amazing, swimming pool very refreshing, breakfast great, changing few positions every day.

The property has amazing view better view of golden horn, partial boshups and bridge, Galatea tower, camlica tower than Any other 5 star experience hotels I stayed. 5 minutes walk away from metro station to taksim square -fatih ect. However there a stiff hill to walk to hotel I don’t mind but it is there which help property to have the view. Definitely will be back. Staff member ibrahim was there every day a true gentleman hard working.

UTTER DISGRACE

STAY HERE AT YOUR PERIL. The worst hotel experience I EVER had anywhere in the world. Airport pickup - prearranged but no sign of driver for an hour in spite of numerous calls - car pumped fumes back in... but that was the LEAST bad aspect of the 10 hours I spent before leaving 2 days early to another hotel. Arrived at 2.30am to find that though we had booked on this site a room for 2 adults and 2 kids, hotel gave a room with 1 double & 1 single bed. When we complained, refused to do anything instead they called the owner who screamed at us down phone & demanded extra money to give us enough beds. After nearly an hour of refusing to accommodate us, our children crying with fatigue, we slept 3 to a bed as we were exhausted. When I say slept, this is loosest term. The hotel is directly above a railway line that has loud freight trains clanking thru every 20-30mins thru night. Awoke to a dirty room, with a cracked sink. So offensive were staff we were scared, I had already booked a different place. Left to check out, past the broken pool looking like a crime site. We explained what we were doing and got more grief from shouty hotel staff, who only then said we were going to discuss in morning (1). After an hour refusing to help us when we needed. We then went to pay the airport transfer which they refused to take credit card and made us walk 15 mins with luggage to ATM to pay cash. Hotel claims 4 star - barely 1 star. A total disgrace.

Otelden ne beklediğiniz çok önemli. Ben alem ile konakladım. 1 gece kaldık. Otele giriş yaptıktan sonra İstanbul'u gezdik gece yatmak için geldik sıcak su banyo, duş ve hamam kurması çok güzeldi bir odada çift kişilik yatak televizyon duş banyo klima, Diğer odada ise 2 tek kişilik yatak ve klima vardı. Kasım ayının ilk günlerine olmasına rağmen kalorifer çalışıyordu odanı bir tarafı ara yola bakıyor, diğer tarafı Deniz manzaralıydı, yerler halıfleks döşenmişti, yataklar rahattı, Ayrıca gece evimiz gibi sessiz bir ortamdı. sabah kalktığımızda açık büfe kahvaltı, sınırsız yiyecek, çay, kahve, meyve suyu, soğuk su Hatta kuru incir bile mevcuttu. Kahvaltıdan sonra tekrar İstanbul'u gezmek için çıkış yaptık. otelin temizliği iyi. binanın kendisi tarihi bir Konak olduğu için çok güzeldi. otelden çıkınca bir buçuk dakika sonra Haliç'te olmak çok güzeldi. bizim gibi sadece konaklama için düşünenler için biçilmiş kaftan bir otel. dedim ya otelden Ne Beklediğiniz çok önemli. Eğer otelde kalayım sürekli otelde vakit geçireyim diyecekseniz havuz başındaki teras bunun için ideal. çayınızı kahvenizi Haliç ve boğaz manzarasında yudumlayabilirsiniz. çalışanlar da ilgili ve güler yüzlü insanlar tek olumsuz yanı halice inerken 100 metre yokuşlu bir ara sokaktan geçiyorsunuz Onun dışında başka hiç olumsuz yanı yok Bu kadar hizmete de fiyat çok uygundu oteli Herkese tavsiye ederim

Great wiev, good service

Härligt rum med havsutsikt. Stort och rent. Bra sängar som var hårda men sköna och passade oss perfekt. Frukosten var helt ok, servicen var topp. Utsikten över staden var helt fantastisk och att sitta där på terrassen, ta ett bad, dricka en öl var helt fantastiskt.

Bedbugs!!!

Everything was very bad. 1) There are bed bugs in the room. In huge quantities. Under the mattresses we found poison, which didn’t help: we saw a few bugs on the first night, and by morning realized the infestation was massive. Bedbugs were everywhere — on sheets, headboards, even hair. We were lucky not to be bitten that first night, likely because the bugs had already fed on others. We requested a room change immediately. 2) The staff showed little concern for guest comfort. After asking for a change, we were told that there was only one room. We were first offered a smaller double room, despite paying for a triple. After complaints, we were grudgingly shown another room, which seemed clean — though we suspected it had just been treated. We decided to stay in it. It was worth seeing the administrator's reaction, as if he thought: "finally they calmed down." 3) Breakfast was poor — many items were missing regardless of time. Technically edible, but far from enjoyable. In the end, even in the new room, we were bitten one night — clear bedbug trails on our limbs. The infestation is likely throughout the hotel. This is a serious sanitary issue, and the hotel clearly avoids dealing with it. Pros: good view, authentic decor, central location, fair price — but all meaningless when you’re sleeping with bedbugs.

Beautifully restored old hotel with great views

This is a place full of character. 3 very old buildings on a hill overlooking the golden horn and Bosphorus. It has been restored and decorated to a high standard. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The roof terrace gives an amazing view. Unfortunately it was too cold to use the swimming pool.

Personeel doet zijn best. Mooie uitstraling. Kamers zijn authentiek en kraken dus :-) Lokatie met uitzicht is goed maar een rare steile berg met veel verkrotting.

The worst experience of my life. First, the room was so bad and dirty. The train ran under my room, and it was so noisy because the room had really bad windows. The biggest problem: the hotel was on a very high street; no buses or anything went there. Even taxis charged extra to go there because it was so high up. Going up felt like climbing a mountain. I booked for three days but couldn't stay more than one; I left. At night, there was a big fight outside my room, and one guy tried to climb up to my window. It included breakfast, and I've never seen a worse breakfast in my life. I don't recommend it to anyone, especially if you want to enjoy your time, because everything and everyone in this hotel will make you sad. I give it -10000000.
