Close to shops and restaurants and easy check in but not suitable for families. Whole apartment was vibrating with loud music from adjacent club all night, doors slamming in the corridor, drinks split on the floor in communal areas, shouting from both inside and outside the building loud enough to wake everyone until 4am. WiFi intermittent and needed to keep signing up. Room was 4/5 cleanliness, missing drawer handles, dish washer not working. I think if on a stag or hen party then good location and amenities but I will not be returning.

Stayed as family for theatre trip after Christmas, the location is very central but next to nightclubs so it was loud! This is clearly aimed at groups for clubbing, you could see some wear and tear to walls and furniture in the apartment.

Our only complaint was the music from nearby bars on till 5am. However, this is not something the apartment has control over, and to be expected with the location.

Highs and lows.

The flat was much nicer than expected. It was large with a nice sofa and TV. The shower was perfectly functional and bed was comfortable. Issue was the flat was rather hot, no air con, and given the location you don't want to open the windows. Other guests were also not too considerate of the need for others to sleep. Finally the communication is other the top. They email you daily if feels like, which just isn't needed.

Very helpful and friendly staff

I was staying for a long weekend to visit family and go to a game at my rugby club on The Wirral. I had booked into the Seel St apart/hotel but actually stayed in the Duke St location. Very helpful and friendly staff in the office at check-in and check-out. Was able to have a parcel delivered prior to my arrival. Only good things to say about my experience and look forward to staying with EPIC again on my next visit in the new year. Thanks EPIC team!
