I had a large, spacious room, stylish as befits a classical Galata building. Huge bed. The staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Breakfast is on the roof, with fine views. It’s a normal Turkish hotel breakfast. The hotel is set on the Golden Horn and near lots of wonderful areas.

I really enjoyed my stay here at Nordstern Galata. The staff was incredibly nice every single one of them to include Ramadan, Ertugrul, Aziz, Onür and everyone! Definitely overrated. The room didn’t heat up I was freezing the whole night. Breakfast had very limited variety. I chose the room for the view, but the windows were so high that you can’t see anything unless you’re standing. There was a coffee machine in the room, but no capsules; the staff said they can’t provide them, and only after I got angry did they bring some from their manager’s supply.
