Our stay at the Dune Boutique Hotel was so peaceful and relaxing throughout our whole time there. Our room was cozy, clean, and tidy. The amenities of the pool, the towels, the complimentary bike rentals, the massage credit, and the close proximity to the beach were all excellent features. And the breakfast meals and other menu items were delicious and fresh. The location in the Hotel Zone was near a handful of local restaurants and shops. All the hotel and restaurant staff members we encountered were all extremely polite and helpful in making our stay as comfortable as possible. In particular, the front desk staff Anthony and Abraham were very considerate as they offered prompt service and good local recommendations around Tulum. Also, the restaurant staff member Silvano was very patient and kind during our visits to the restaurant. Another recommendation goes to the hotel Luk’ Ul Spa. Getting a massage with the ocean breeze in the background is an amazing experience. The kind ladies Mara and Gloria who did our couples massage did an amazing job. We felt refreshed during and after the massage. We would consider staying here again in a future trip to Tulum!

Amazing, eco friendly hotel with incredible staff. The food was fantastic as well. We ate there nearly every meal. The views of the ocean were amazing and there are a ton of seating or laying options to relax and have a drink. The staff treated us like family and we felt at home there. Excellent experience at Dune Boutique Hotel. Check-in/out was a breeze thanks to the great work by Alex at reception. The room was clean and comfortable, AC, hot water and toilet worked all perfectly fine. The property is nice and the crew does their best to clean the beach of sargassum every morning. The hospitality and customer service of this resort far exceeded my expectations as well as any other experience I’ve had while traveling internationally. The food and drinks are amazing and the inclusive breakfast is far from your basic continental breakfast…it’s very filling with multiple options. The staff are very attentive and on hand ready to assist 24/7! They even sent me off to the airport with coffee and a meal box upon my departure! My only constructive comment is that with the property being a small, boutique structure, the plumbing and sewage system are very sensitive and by night 3, we had faint smells of sewage in our room. Not bad enough to report to the staff, yet noticeable.

What an incredible stay I had! It was absolutely so beautiful and so nice to come here. The property was phenomenally stunning. Alex was very attentive and helped me with everything I needed. They offered yoga classes in the morning and the instructor was so great! Breakfast lunch and dinner on the beach with top notch food and service. My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights before our stay in Tulum Centro. Weeks before our stay I contacted the front desk to arrange airport transport. They were very helpful booking our private pick up from the airport. Our check in was fast and easy, Alex, the front desk concierge handled everything well and perfectly. I had mentioned to the lovely concierge team that we were traveling to Tulum to celebrate our honeymoon. The staff decorated the room with balloons and rose peals. We found it to be a great surprise and such a kind gesture. During our stay, Alex listened to our likes and dislike for food and gave great restaurant recommendations. Our first night we arrived during dinner time, we decided to eat at the dune restaurant. Their food is truly sublime. The grilled octopus is a must try. The location itself is two doors down from taboo, you will hear loud music but it is to be expected. Dunes staff are very friendly, courteous and easy going. I really appreciated being treated like family at dune. Dune is a place I would highly recommend to my family at friends.
