Rooms are small but adequate. The facilities are great for what they are. Breakfast was good. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Its great dor a quick stop but anything more than a few nights it could be uncomfortable.

The University Accommodation was very clean and well cared for. The Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and very acceptable. You do need to bring all your own essentials as toiletries are limited to hand soap. Don’t forget a hairdryer if you need one. Breakfast was most appealing.

I hadn't realised my stay coincided with Graduation fortnight and so on occasion I found parking hard. On the whole good value for money.
sally, 3-night trip

My only complaint was that there was regularly scheduled fire alarm testing which I was not informed of. Other than that it was easy and convenient.

This property is student accommodation and is very good value for money. It isn't, and doesn't pretend to be 4 star, but works well and has all the basics. There weren't any lifts in the block I was in, but staff were happy to help with cases. As it was outside term time, there were no buses on the campus, which is hilly.
Catharine, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

Stayed again at the venue but this time midweek the only small criticism I have is that they chose not to do filter coffee jugs at breakfast which was disappointing as was very welcome at the weekend when clearly more guests were staying. I would however suggest just keeping one jug on the go in mid-week would have been nice

Good rooms, beautiful location at the university campus. A rather poor breakfast service with nearly only fried food available. Difficulties with obtaining an institutional invoice, hopefully to be solved by mail.

Peaceful Stay at Holland Hall

I stayed here again after four years—back then we were in Clydesdale Court, and this time we chose the guest rooms in Holland Hall. The campus was beautifully quiet during term break, and the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever. My room was simple yet spotless, with a lovely view. The bathroom was spacious and the shower had excellent water pressure—just be mindful of the wet floor afterward. If you need a hairdryer or other small extras, simply ask at reception. Despite a large academic conference onsite, check‑in, breakfast, and every aspect of my stay ran smoothly. Breakfast was excellent, and the dining hall is spacious with its own pleasant outlook. There’s also a cozy social area beside reception—both indoors and outdoors—which is perfect for relaxing. All in all, a peaceful, nice stay—I’d happily return again.

8/10 Good

We chose this accommodation for convenience for our son's graduation. It was great that we could leave the car before checking in and use a room to change in too. The check in time was very strict, we understand probably because there are so many rooms to get ready during graduation but when it turned 3pm we were told it might take a bit longer. Just wondering if maybe more staff are needed at this time? There was only a few minutes delay in the end The room itself was basic but clean and the bed comfortable. It was very hot but we did see we could borrow a fan if needed. The shower wasn't really big enough for my husband's stature of 6.5 as he was unable to shower without the curtain sticking up him. It was great to have tea and coffee-making facilities in the room. It would just have been nice to have had enough for 2 drinks each to start with. You can ask for more at reception but we hadn't realised there wasn't enough for two and reception was a walk outside away and it was raining. In summary choosing this accommodation was convenient and reasonably priced so ideal for the one night. Staff were friendly and the breakfast plentiful and tasty with a great view to enjoy. Would definitely recommend to others looking for somewhere to stay for graduation.

10/10 Excellent

The location is beautiful and very handy from Exeter St Davids station. It is a steep uphill walk from there, but I enjoyed it. My room was clean and functional as advertied. The breakfast was excellent with a huge variety if options.
