It was in a very convenient spot within the Sydney CBD. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Vibes within the place were immaculate. The shared toilets were mostly clean. I was happy that the staff checked me in early in the morning before the official time and the upgrade. The building has been renovated. The room is small but clean. My only complaint is that the toilet bowls were dirty. I blame it on the design because it is deep and the pool of water is small, like a well. So lots of poops stuck above the water. I suggest the management taking a look at American ones of which the pool is wider and no well

Hostel itself is good, they have a lot of activities every night. Many people staying at the hostel were doing group tours which made it a bit difficult to meet people since many already had groups when just solo traveling. Great location, close to the bus stop, stores, and central train.
