It was clean but the room was very tired looking and in need of refurbishment. The bathroom had mildew/mould in the corners of the ceiling (probably from condensation) so I assume it hadn’t been decorated in a number of years. The walls are bit thin so I could hear other guests in the other rooms. Thankfully they weren’t too loud so didn’t disturb me too much but if there are other guests staying who are a bit loud and less thoughtful, it would be quite annoying.

Room I was given was visible tired but when looking closer it was clear that the cleaning was not completed to a standard I would expect. Walls were full of holes and wall plugs, bathroom accessories were broken and to top it off no hot water in the morning. Personally I will not be staying here again.

I stayed for 2 nights it only a 20 minute taxi ride to Nottingham centre which is just like home. And we had food 1 night In the restaurant and it was lovely large portions as well. Local pubs cheep and friendly. Perfect if going to the spar which is 3 minutes walk away would stay again.

Cheap bedding

The room was clean as was the bathroom. The rain shower was a delight. The mattress and pillows however, were obviously cheap and didn’t provide the best comfort. The staff were kind and friendly.

No Hot Water!

Staff were friendly and the food was fine. Bed was very low to the ground and the mattresses was worn out. No hot water via tap or shower in the morning even after running either for 5 minutes each. No staff at reception and no time to wait, so left sweaty!

Small carpark need to make sure you put in your registration number on the tablet. Quick check in most information given Room was at the top of the hotel no lift just stairs a few flights too ! Room was a big size Clean but a bit worn looking. Bed was comfortable enough Wifi excellent Shower was hot and powerful Breakfast not included Evening meal was good Plenty of choices and residents get a discount too ! Location close to the town center and the river. Would probably stay again if in the area.
