The hotel is centrally located and convenient. The furnishings are of high quality and the garden is delightful. The staff are very pleasant.
However, we suffered from a lot of noise from fellow guests walking around and going up and down the stairs at all hours, the hanging space was pitiful (space for four hangers and too low for my dresses), our tissue box had about four tissues in it, and there was insufficient room for our things due to all the “amenities” crammed into our tiny room (ironing board, suitcase stand, flannels, a fan, bathrobes)
The bar is also super expensive - I ordered two large glasses of Malbec and a small bowl of nuts and the bill was £45!
The car park is a faff as you have to pay £15 per day by joining the hotel wifi, scanning a QR code, going to a website and entering your details. Many of the customers were older and struggled with this at check in.
