ホテル全体としても、室内にしても清潔感があり、基本的には快適でした。 設備面やアメニティに関しては、凄いと思うところと足りないと思う部分の差が大きく、部屋のベッドやインテリアは良く、広さもあり、景色もいいので良かったですが、トイレとお風呂が１部屋にあり、高級ホテルとしてはちょっと如何なものかなと思いました。 又、トイレに入る扉に鍵がなく、ちょっと困るのと、風呂場に椅子がないため座ることができなかったり、アメニティーに櫛がなく、子供の髪をとくのに困ったり、シャワーの水圧がかなり弱いなどと、いろいろ足りない物は感じました。 洗面所の鏡が電熱を通してあり、一切曇らないのや、ドライヤーがReFaだったのは良かったです。 又、体育館、テニス、サイクリング、プール、ジム、ゴルフ、フットサルなどスポーツをするにはとても充実した施設だと思うので、また利用したいと思います。

部屋からルームへのインターホンの繋ぎ方の案内が明確でなかったり チェックアウトの時間を伝えられていなかったり、 プラネタリウムでの説明が早口過ぎて 禁止事項などの説明の棒読み。 肝心なプラネタリウム内の椅子がリクライニングがあるというような、 お客さんが知るべき情報の案内は皆無。 プラネタリウム内は薄暗いので リクライニングの存在に気付かないまま、 首を痛めながらの星空観察となりました。 観察を終えてからリクライニングの存在に 気付きすごく残念な気持ちに。 あと、9:00から11:00 窓ガラスを掃除するのでカーテンを閉めていてくださいとのことでしたが、 優雅なチェックアウトまでのひととき、 湖畔の景色を楽しむ時間がなくなったので せっかくのレイクビューも台無しでした。 施設の設備の内容よりも、 スタッフ一人ひとりの心遣いの足りなさが 目立つホテルだなと感じました。

スポーツ施設併設の浴場があるのと、部屋が綺麗なので予約しました。部屋は琵琶湖の眺めがよく、改装済みですごく良かったです。お風呂は狭さはあまり気にならなかったですが、地下なので窓が無く、脱衣所の謎の汗臭さが気になってしまいましたが、泉質は良くて温まりました。 朝食のバイキングは種類も豊富で良かったのですが、おかずは凄く美味しいというものがなかったので、値段の割にはという気がします。宿泊費はそこまで高くないため総合して星は4つ止まりかなと。
