We had an incredible stay at On the Cliff. Beautiful property in the perfect location in Fira. Simona (front desk) was beyond helpful and friendly, which made us feel at home prior to us arriving. Highly recommend this spot. The room had a beautiful jacuzzi tub which was breathtaking during sunset. Breakfast in the morning was also delicious and surpassed expectations. The location of On the Cliff is great with an amazing sunset view. It is close by to restaurants, bars, shops, and the bus station in Fira. You can arrange transport through the hotel as well as other excursions if you want. There are lots of steep stairs, 50 between where our room was and the restaurant/reception area. The hotel was nice to provide a porter to help with bags, which has to be carried from another street since the hotel is located on a pedestrian street only. It was relatively quiet even though located next to busy bars and restaurants. Our small jacuzzi didn’t seem to get hot at all, so we used it more like a pool. The door to our bathroom was broken by recent guests and hadn’t been repaired fully. We enjoyed eating the complementary breakfast with coffee but didn’t try the On the Cliff restaurant other than for breakfast.
