This hotel is ideally located, close to shopping, dining and the rail station. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, spacious and well-equipped, with a nice kitchenette and a view of the cathedral. My only complaint was that my room location required me to take the lift, then walk down a long hall through several doorways, and negotiate some half-dozen steps -- a bit awkward with the luggage. Otherwise it was a quite comfortable and affordable stay, and I would definitely recommend it to friends visiting Manchester.

Staff were amazing. Sadly the room I thought I’d booked in the pic was not the one I got. Having no air con in a room that doesn’t have any opening windows was stuffy to say the least. Also having an oil radiator to heat the whole room wasn’t ideal either.

Rooms are not serviced daily so stock up on coffee and milk from the breakfast and maintain linen and towels.
