We loved our stay at the Witt! The staff were so lovely and the breakfast was delicious. We also really appreciated being able to leave our luggage a couple of days before check-in whilst we visited a different part of Turkey. We would love to return!

Not sure why I felt led to choose this hotel but it was a great choice. The location was good. The room was spacious and very clean. Somehow I booked it for 2026 (just not sure how that happened) . Thankfully the hotel contacted me and booked a room for us. Also we requested a late checkout and they accommodated us for that. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was healthy and delicious. My only complaints are the lighting in the room and bathroom was dull and I didn’t care for the artificial aroma used in the lobby. It’s very fake and overwhelming.

Wir hatten ein schönes, komfortables Eckzimmer mit Aussicht auf das Viertel. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig. Das Bett ist allerdings ziemlich hart. Das Frühstück war gut mit viel Süßem. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Dachterrasse hat einen grandiosen Rundumblick auf den Bosphorus, aber die Möblierung ist äußerst dürftig. Schade! Das Gegend ist wirklich nett mit vielen Cafes und Restaurants. Emphehlenswert!

Loved the Witt. The staff is amazing, the breakfast is delicious, the rooms are huge and the bathrooms great. Oh and that spectacular view from the roof terrace!!! Great location for our group - close to a tram stop into the old city but away from the tourist crowds. I’ve been to Istanbul often and friends lived in the area so I was prepared for the steep hills in the neighborhood. Sometimes resorted to taxis….the staff had great recommendations for local bars and restaurants. Can’t wait to return to the Witt

Fab hotel in Istanbul

Great hotel, great room and the service was excellent. Very nice people but the Turks are very respectful and friendly. Well they were in this hotel. Breakfast was great and the Turkish red wine was delicious. Definitely stay again it was all a***** Only negative I would say if you have problem with steep hills you may struggle as we were in our 60’s and we had to take out time. Not the hotels fault but definitely use taxis if you have luggage.

Wonderful choice!

This was a wonderful catch. A great hotel, beautiful design, elegant… the staff is kind, silent during night… close to the zones of interest as a tourist. Provided great service. If I ever come back to Istanbul I will definitely choose this place again.
