Good guest house run by a nice friendly couple. Our room was nice, clean & comfortable, and the breakfast was decent. We found the location handy, and were able to park on the front, which was a very short walk from the guest house. I'd definitely stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights, the staff were very freindly and very accomadating. Our room was lovely, very comfy beds. Breakfast was absolutely delicous, there was cereal, full english, toast. Room was clean and towels and refreshments changed daily. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

OK, so it's been a while since I've stayed in a traditional B&B / Guest House so I'm comparing, unfairly maybe with hotels. That said, I was pleasantly surprised with the facilities, a bar & lounge area, pool table, dart board, comfortable and spacious seating area. (but no ginger ale for my whiskey!) The owners Donna & Chris were friendly & welcoming, there on arrival & departure and easy to find if I needed anything. Bottled (2l) water in the room was provided in the room on each day of my stay. The room & bathroom were spotlessly clean. Cooked breakfast was provided in a separate dining area & although no choice in what you had, everything was there. Selection of cereals, condiments, jams, marmalades, bread & toast. The location was great, quiet & safe, tucked back from the main promenade but on a street with shops, takeaways etc. Home Bargains store, a 2min walk away for anything forgotten. Blackpool FC was literally a 6-7 minute walk away (my main reason for visiting Blackpool on this occasion) Transport links were great, 15 mins walk from Blackpool South station, there is a bus service, no. 11 on the same street providing a 30min service into town & Lytham. The tram stop (Manchester Square) is 5min walk away My only criticism was the numerous notices displaying the rules & do's & don'ts and the paperwork to be completed on arrival, providing my next of kin! But these did not stop me doing what I wanted or needed to do & having a very pleasant stay. Thank you

Spotless guest house run by a friendly couple

This was a great value stay in Blackpool. I received a friendly welcome, my room was spotlessly clean with ample supplies of tea and coffee and a 2 litre bottle of still water. Breakfast was decent, in a very pleasant dining room and consisted of orange juice, cereal, a generous full english and toast, tea or coffee. To continue to make guests feel safe breakfast is served in 2 seperate servings, at 9am or 10am so that no one sits at the table next to you. There is a gorgeous pet dog on the premises which could detract if you've an allergy to dogs. In the evening there is a limited bar (nothing on draft) but there is a good choice of cans, bottles and shorts. During my stay there was a convivial atmosphere generated by Chris and Donna who were happy to chat with all guests. The area itself is rundown and there are derelict properties close by. Overall, I've had a wonderful stay and cannot fault the vibe, atmosphere and quality - particularly as this hotel is in the very affordable segment of Blackpool choices.
