Good place to stay, nice room not massive but had everything you’d need for an overnight stay. En-suite with shampoo, body wash, soap etc tea and coffee making facilities, biscuits, chocolate on pillow, towels, hairdryer in drawer. Breakfast was excellent, one of the best we have had, cooked how you ask.

We have just returned after a two night stay. We were there for a wedding at Hopstock Priory. The staff at the Angel Inn were all very attentive and made us feel very welcome. Our meal on Saturday evening was well presented, hot and very tasty despite the pub being very busy. Breakfasts both mornings were delicious, cooked to order so served to the table, no queuing or wandering round a buffet table! The rooms are compact but very clean and comfortable. The housekeeping ladies were very friendly and helpful. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at The Angel Inn

The room was adequate. But little things that matter. Table had a mirror bit too high, no chair, so couldn’t put make up on, or dry hair. Quiet. Bathroom was amazing. Also there was a huge leather chair and footstool which was a tad big for the room. Bed very comfortable. The staff were exceptional. We arrived very late due to car problems. They very kindly offered to cook us some supper. It was very late. We accepted and had 2 prawn baguette which were delicious. So thank you very much for that.
