We booked this at the last minute on the day of and were pleasantly surprised at how nice this place was. Room was super comfortable, everyone was very friendly and bonus was finding out this hotel opened its doors in 1244.. you read that right. Historic hidden gem. Loved it.

Didn’t have a problem finding parking nearby. While there’s not a lot to do in town, Triberg is only a 20min drive which has a train station, and other cities/towns with more to do are nearby. This is a good spot to stay

Everything was wonderful. Beautiful suite newly refurbished. Kitchenette for all to use with mineral water in the fridge. Must keep glass bottled water at the location & recycling bottles after usage. All meals were delicious. Host is extremely friendly and helps you understand the meals. Property owners do speak English but be patient as there are a little bit of a language barriers. Extremely thankful for the hospitality.

We really liked our room, it was modern, clean & the communal kitchen & complimentary bottled water was a plus. The beds were comfy and the room was well equipped for our toddler and baby, with a baby changing table, potty and step. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us, especially as my partner had a dairy allergy, they contacted the bakery for allergens and made him fried eggs as the eggs usually on offer contained dairy. Our only niggle (which the guest house can't do anything about) is that there was no lift, and we had to park our car across the road from the hotel. We had to make several trips to and from the car for all our luggage & as you can imagine we don't travel light with two little ones, it meant several trips up and down a flight of stairs, luckily it was just one flight of stairs though. There was even an area for kids to play at breakfast time and a high chair for our young baby (supported). I also wasn't aware of a tourist tax for the Black Forest & don't recall it being mentioned when we booked the hotel. We were given a guest card on arrival.

Auberge familiale située à Vohrenbach. Absolument rien à faire dans ce village en tout cas, obligé de se déplacer ensuite. Chambre numéro 5 au style rustique, petite mais fonctionnelle. Pas très bien insonorisée et avec une connexion horrible dans les chambres. Par contre c'était propre. La literie est correcte. Le petit dej n'a pas beaucoup de choix mais c'est suffisant et copieux. Les repas au restaurant sont plutôt de bonne qualité et copieux. Bon rapport qualité prix. Pas trouvé la piscine, donc pas d'avis dessus. Les gérants et employés sont sympas. Hôtel très kids friendly avec des petites attentions et un espace de jeu (petite cuisine et lego). Le fait de dormir là donne accès aux transports gratuits en forêt noire et à la Dreiwelten card qui permet de bénéficier d'activités gratuites comme la cascade à Triberg et Triberg Land. Donc auberge sympa, on a passé 3 nuits agréables malgré le manque de réseau et la déco de la chambre. On a bien mangé le matin et le soir. On aurait aimé voir la piscine (on n'a pas demandé)
