"Terrible customer service. The hotel ignored my urgent request for help with a booking error and told me to deal with the booking app. Even when the app contacted them, they refused to help. Completely unaccommodating and disappointing experience."

"Poolside was comfortable but could’ve been more cleaner, however there were a good amount of people so of course everything had been out of place. "

"Time consuming luggage drop off and garage parking. Staff was polite. Not always informative. Pillows were so thick and large. Hard for sleeping "

"Room was ok, if a bit small. There was no coffee maker, and breakfast is not served in the restaurant. Probably would not stay here again."

"While the staff were kind, it is worth noting that this property is VERY noisy with limited soundproofing. Despite paying a premium for a high floor and staying on the 25th floor, we could still hear cars, sirens, footsteps, nearby showers, doors closing, and conversation. Due to the noise, our sleep was interrupted constantly and we left feeling exhausted."

"Location to historical district could not be better. Rooms are a little dated but over all, great size, comfy beds, microwave and fridge. Staff were so nice and friendly. Chris, the Concierge, was incredibly helpful. Super close to start of hop on hop off bus. Chris can book tickets for you. Would highly recommend this tour to get an overall view of area. We loved Philadelphia!"

"This is my second time staying at Penn's View (last stay 04-07-2025 - 04-11-2025). I am somewhat pleased with my visit but I had reserved a room with a Juliet balcony facing Market Street. Was put in a room with one window instead. Although Penn's View has no responsibility within the neighborhood it appears the area has become more sketchy since 2025."
