"Everything was perfect except that it would be lovely if they have a free breakfast."

"There was no fan in the bathroom. Pool was small with no locker or changing room. The AC was noisy and didn’t work properly. The parking was outside of hotel and the elevator for the parking was not working."

"Continues to be my chosen place to stay in Halifax. Grand old hotel with a lot of character. Great location for shops, restaurants and walking. I’ve stayed in both the smallest and largest of rooms in the hotel, and although there are parts of the hotel that could use some fresh paint and tlc, I appreciate that the little things are always high quality: big towels, great toiletries, Nespresso machines in all the rooms, and top notch staff. Only thing I didn’t appreciate this visit was that the housekeeping started knocking incessantly just after 8am. Saw them in the hall next door the second morning, just a bit later, but I’d avoided it by putting the Privacy sign on my door. Feels a little early to start visiting rooms, but I guess they need the time?"
