"The termina where hotel is based looks like abandonded and that is really scary. Hotel is a bit creepy as well, but I blame more the terminal. Breakfast was great."

"Nothing in the area, even a convenience store! You have to take the shuttle back to the airport. Towels were very thin, and not plentiful. Food in restaurant was much better than expected."

"If you want to visit Rio De Janeiro this is the perfect hotel to stay at. It’s not that far from the city of Rio and also, Niterói is a wonderful city too. Niterói is fun and safe, with good food, malls, beaches and great views of the Contemporary Museum, Sugar Loaf Mountain and when the weather is clear you can see Christ The Redeemer and other mountains. "Was very apprehensive about staying in Lapa but after arriving I felt so much better. The hotel is in a perfect spot which made it easy to see Santa Teresa, the Lapa arches and sample local nightlife in Lapa. The staff were all so helpful and made our stay perfect. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Rio."

It's basic but has a comfortable bed, great power in the shower and the room was nice and clean. Our room was very quiet at night.
