I always stay at Sotetsu Fresa Takadanobaba whenever I'm in Tokyo, and for good reason. This was a fantastic hotel! The location was incredible - it is walking distance to the Yamanote train line which connects you to other main attractions in Tokyo. There is also tons of great restaurants and shops in the area as well and a convenience store in the heart of the lobby making it easy to grab food, drinks or other supplies. This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. My only real complaint is that the laundry facility was too small. There were often 2 hour lines of folks waiting to get loads...

Love this place and we will stay here again in the future. Room was amazing for three people with 3 single beds, fresh linen-and robe daily. Free breakfast with delicious pastries included. And oh, I missed the caffucino latte served as much as you want from Am till 10:00 pm. Our experience was great!

I had an excellent stay at VIA INN Shinjuku! The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped. The food was delicious, offering a great variety of options. I felt very safe and seen when I was at the hotel. The front desk staff is amazing and super quick with serving their guests. The area around the hotel was great and easily walkable. I will definitely be back at this hotel in the near future!!

We came to Japan for our honeymoon,it was such a friendly envrionement to spend our first few days in Japan. The staff was phenomenal:). We highly recommend this hotel. It’s clean, secure, friendly and accommodating to their guests!

10-15 min walk to Shinjuku. Multiple train entrances. Convenience stores every where. Friendly staff. The complaints about the dryers not being the best are technically accurate, but it’s cheap so it’s not a big deal at all. Staff was helpful even though I know basically zero Japanese. Held our bags after check-in since we had some time before our flight. 100% would stay again. Fair price and great location.
