It's feeding time at the zoo! If you want to be reminded of some of the great animals our world is home to, you might want to pay a trip to CIGS Zoo, located 2.2 mi (3.6 km) from central Manaus. If you have fun at CIGS Zoo, you'll love Ivete Ibiapina Music House and Palacio Rio Negro, both located nearby.

"The staff of the hotel is really great, everyone is super pleasant, nice and very helpful. The installations are not as seen in the pictures. The whole place is old, poor maintained, and not as clean as one would hope for. The wi-fi does not work properly in the bedroom and when we asked for a solution, there wasn't one. I found a roach in the bathroom and the shower showed parts that were really not cleaned, kinda gross actually. The tv has no cable and just a handful of local channels. The AC works fine but it's turned off once you leave the room, meaning that when you come back from your endeavors you find a very hot and humid bedroom, so much so that you can smell it. The breakfast buffet was pretty good with fresh juices, local fruits, a very nice lady making fresh eggs and tapioca on demand. Again, the staff is the biggest asset this hotel has. For the price, we should have much better installations. I cannot say I recommend it."

"The hotel is solid for the price by Manaus standards. Our room was hot when we arrived and smelled of body odor. The shower didn’t drain properly and there was mold. The USB ports did not work for charging and there were no 110 plugs, so make sure you have a converter, not just an adapter."

"Unfortunately, the room was quite moldy. It appeared that the windows and curtains hadn’t been cleaned in years, leading to a pervasive presence of black mold and a strong musty odor. After requesting the staff to clean the windows and change the curtains, they responded promptly, and the room's smell significantly improved. For individuals with mold allergies, this hotel may not be the best choice. However, the location is absolutely fantastic, as it's right next to the Amazon Theater! The staff were very friendly, and the breakfast was good. Overall, this place simply needs to pay much more attention to cleanliness."
