"This property is about a 25 min (fast paced) walk to the tourist areas. It feels safe, quite, more authentic, and has a beautifully run doggy daycare right next door. The staff are what made my stay here exceptional. They will go out of their way to help you, direct, and inform you, in English. It has many local tourists, rather than from other countries. The buffet breakfast is sublime and highly recommended. The bedrooms are ample. Thank-you for making my time in Oaxaca fell amazing."

"Ébano by PB is an awesome hotel. The architecture is beautiful with an inner courtyard. Excellent service from the staff, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was very tasty; many options from which to choose. My faves were the teas, green juice, oatmeal with berries and scrambled eggs with chorizo ... all served at your table in that lovely courtyard. Our room was spacious, beautiful and the bathroom had a jetted tub and an excellent shower! Nice amenities, very clean and we felt very safe...

"Rooms were larger than normal with kitchen area, seating area and 2 separate bedrooms. We had a late night check-in due to a flight delay and the staff had all the paperwork waiting for us when we walked in. The cleanliness standards were 100% impressive. The hotel is very quiet. It is located in a very safe area with dozens of restaurants, cafes, mini marts and bars on the street. Walking distance to the Zocalo (city center) was 15-20 minutes."

"Rooma are large and clean, not much wardrobe space. But ok for 1. Stayed for week,hotel is 600m from center of Oaxaca but the walk is fairly pleasant and easy. Half way during my atay they opened the outside area whixh gave somewhere to sit in the shade "

"Casa Adobe is a great option for families or groups. The staff is well trained with amazing attitude. The location could be the only con (25-30 from downtown by taxi). Food is superior for breakfast. Will stay again. Highly recommended. "
