"Great bar and clean hotel with friendly staff "

"The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was a decent size for the area. The price felt about $20 higher than expected, but the location is excellent — close to food, the mall, and right across from the flower fields. My main issue was the lack of communication on either Hotel.com or the Hotel's own website about ongoing renovations and construction. There was constant noise throughout the day, including talking, banging, and spray‑painting that started around 7:45am and continued until the late afternoon. Coming back to the room after being out all day and still hearing construction noise was frustrating. A heads‑up about the renovations would have made a big difference."

"My stay here was not pleasant, the hotel overall seemed run down and unkempt. The room was overwhelmingly loud with noise from the street and other hotel guests with no possible solution. The bathroom was outdated and the balcony was big but dirty. There was no AC in the bedroom which only added to the unpleasant experience. I would not recommend this hotel for anyone’s stay in Encinitas and strongly recommend finding a better option. "

"Room was clean and the property is family friendly. Two of the pools have waterslides which was a blast for our kids. Great for our family staycation."

"Do not trust the photos from Expedia. The Hotel is what the Hotel is. Expedia did not do its due diligence regarding this property. I blame Expedia for the Bad Experience, not the Hotel "

"Big size pool with a hot tub including a splash pool for the little one’s. Food was just ok. Not the best, but convenient to order or eat from the property restaurant if you didn’t want to drive anywhere. Breakfast was nothing special and it’s not free. Wished they had more food options. Our room was a double queen pool view. Plenty of towels in the room. Only problem was that the closet light didn’t work, remote battery was low and the shampoo bottle was out. "
