"We stayed here for a couple of days towards the end of our long honeymoon when we visited the Algarves. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful upon our arrival, and Jorge did a wonderful job of explaining the amenities while helping get our bags to our room. He even recommended a restaurant within walking distance and made us a reservation (and it was a really great local spot)! The view from the restaurant/breakfast area is beautiful, and has outdoor seating available. The breakfast has an excellent spread with a variety of hot and cold food items and an omelette bar. The assortment of fresh fruits, breads, and deli meats surpassed what I've seen at most European hotels. The room was well furnished and had a very nice eastward facing patio and seating area. We also arrived to a "thank you" note and a wonderful welcome gift that was meant to celebrate our honeymoon stay at the hotel. Even the fitness room impressed me. This was the first hotel on our trip that had much more than a bench and dumbbells. Still not spectacular, but a massive upgrade from our other stays throughout the trip. All in all, my wife and I loved the hotel and the location so much that we kept talking about wanting to stay longer. I guess we'll just need to plan a return trip!"

"What an extraordinary resort! From the moment we checked in, the staff was friendly and very helpful. We stayed on the 4th floor with an ocean view. The balcony is very private with not only an ocean view but also of the town closest by that outlines the beach shore. The grounds are spectacular! If you are looking for a romantic place to meander amongst secret gardens, secluded beach, lounge near several pools and couples cabanas with impeccable service, beautiful grounds that are manicured and feel like a tropical paradise, this is the place!"

"Located in a great spot by the beach with great restaurants all around. Host desk Staff was unkind to wife Friday night when she came to ask them for info on where to find meds due to food poisoning from (we strongly think) their food. Past that, everything was perfect"

"This property is in an excellent location. Close to restaurants, bars,cafes and you can walk to the grocery store, old town, and the hop on hop off tourist train. We also walked to the train station on the morning of our departure with our luggage. Book early and you really can’t go wrong!"
