"Nice stay for family "

"Clean and comfortable room, beautiful hotel. Only complaints were that for the price paid it felt very cheap to also have water bottles for sale in the room. And the parking was very confusing. When we arrived for check-in we parked in the front and didn’t see any signs about the parking situation. During check in nothing was mentioned about the parking except that where we had parked was ok and that we didn’t need to move our car. Later after coming back from dinner we moved to the back lot closer to our room and saw signs saying that we needed to scan a QR code to pay for parking. Husband went to front desk to ask if it was/wasn’t just part of our bill and was told that bc we were only staying one night that the front desk clerk “took care of it” for us and not to pay online, implying that he comped the fee. In the morning we realized that he couldn’t have done that as he never asked for our car info, and we found a card on our windshield reminding us to register and pay. So we went back to the front desk and the person there said he had no idea why the previous person would have told us not to pay, and that he could/would just add it to our bill at check out. It was about $20 i think. -If we have to pay for parking, why not sure add it to the bill? Why make it another step for the customer. -This particular hotel has PLENTY of parking, and charging separately just seems… greedy? It was a nice stay but we probably won’t return again."

"The staff (particularly one of the male employees) was not friendly at all, and we did not feel welcomed during our stay. While the room itself was acceptable, there was a strong unpleasant odor every time we entered, which made the experience uncomfortable. We requested room cleaning, but no one ever came. The housekeeping number was also unresponsive, and we had to go to the front desk multiple times just to get basic items we needed. Overall, the service and room condition did not meet expectations. Also, keep in mind that breakfast and parking are not included and require additional payment."

"Always love staying here. Clean, upscale feeling. Great bar, breakfast. The rooms are nice. Love the size and the couch that can be used as an extra sleeping area. Large lobby area. Great walking distance to down town. Parking is insanely expensive compared to other hotels in the area. This is the only reason we don’t stay here all the time. This trip the manager gave us comped parking and it seriously made our stay feel so special. We were in town for a hockey tournament on Easter and they made our holiday stay feel very special. Would definitely recommend. Just wish nightly parking fee was not so outrageous. "
