"I love a hotel that makes you really feel welcome by the little extras they give - so rarely found these days. Here's just some of what The Dunes provides: Good sized fridge in the room, the iron & board, extra heavy cozy blanket, the pen and notepad!!!, full bottles of hand lotion, pot for boiling water + mini coffee pod maker. Great coffee downstairs at 7am, pool (w a few cabanas), gym, tons of parking...Said enough? Oh yes, awesome location from main drag. "

"when we arrived at 100 in the after we asked if we could checkin early they said room was not ready so we showed up at 400 pm checkin time I asked for a phone call no phone call to lets us knowwhen are room was ready as we were walking to our room they had rooms on the bottom floor with venders selling merchandise to I have no clue to me this was very unprofessional I was wondering what kind of place we checked into the room was ok the hotel was out dated aaaa there was a basket in the bathroom with no soap or anything in it no shampoo in the room no soap lucky we brought are own I would not stay here again very disappointed"

"I did not have breakfast. The pool looked really nice. I did not use it. I was only there for one night, but I had a nice time and I liked my room. It was clean. The maid was extremely nice and all of the staff were very nice to."

"Check in staff was very nice. However, the room was in poor condition. The wall paper was cut in pieces, falling off in others. The carpet was not vacuumed, the prior guests had left tags from new clothes on the floor. There was candy on the side of the mini fridge. Hair in the sink and shower. Long hair in a pile behind the toilet. Worse of all there was poop on the drawstring bag thay has the extra toilet paper roll in it on top of the toilet. Super dirty room. "

"The pool area was open for 14 hours a day, and thumping music played for all 14 hours! This is supposedly a resort, which we weren't aware of when we got our room."

"Great location, close to El Paseo and reasonable proximity to Palm Springs, the airport and Joshua Tree. Clean, spacious, comfortable rooms equipped with a kitchen. Cons: $30/day parking, cleaning service did not refill shower amenities as requested."
