"The views of the mountains were absolutely stunning. The property is beautifully maintained with impressive architecture. Breakfast was a standout, offering both buffet and à la carte options. The selection of pools was another major plus, with plenty of choices for families or adults. Overall, a beautifully situated property that delivers on scenery, comfort, and style. "Clean, nice newer pool, bar at pool, housekeeping were very responsive with needs, staff in general very nice and welcoming and the complementary valet was wonderful and the spa was amazing best facial I’ve ever had."

"Rooms were cleaned later in the day, allowing you to sleep in without interruptions. The cleaning staff was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. The spa was accessible, but the hot tub was cold. They have a good variety of fitness classes. I highly recommend attending Yoga with Lauren. The Zumba class ended up being fun, but the instructor seemed to be in a bad mood at the start of the class. I was almost discouraged from going to the class because of this non-welcoming aura. However, all the other spa staff were very accommodating and sincere. The pool area is really nice. They have music playing, volleyball nets, a slide, lazy pool and two sizeable pools. Be aware that the poolside bar closes early (5pm at the time of my stay) on Fridays. In the courtyards, the old pools have been replaced with shaded turf, which is really nice for various types of events or simply having a space for kids to run around. Restaurant menu items average about $20. All in all, it was a very enjoyable stay. I would definitely stay again, but I probably would not attend the Zumba class again to avoid that unpleasant interaction."

"It is a very unique hotel. Fun place. Having a fridge that's actually cold and a microwave would be great for all these overpriced food we had leftover. The double beds were horrible to share... I did not get the room I signed up for. We were over the kitchen and it smelled like food and te view was ugly. The pool was great until Saturday when they treated us like criminals after we had been there and stayed after checkout to enjoy it... a ritzy hotel like valley ho should never subject their paying guests to being paper braceleted to enter the pool they paid for...and the drink situation... no, staff was great...I recommend it Monday thru Friday but not on Saturday with the pool fiasco."
