"Charged £6 per night to park on location even if a space was unavailable???? "

"We were let check in at 2.45 as our room was ready (housekeeping was still happening in some rooms on our floor however!) It was a bit of a maze to find the room initially. Room was clean We got the sea view as per our room type/booking Shower pressure was excellent but water got hot quick. Yorkshire tea in the hospitality tray a big ✅️ from us Plenty of towels Only 1 accessible plug without unplugging other things. 2 extra pillows (but only 1 each on the bed to start with!) Walls are thin- we could hear upstairs talking/walking around/using the bathroom. Floors are a bit wonky (but it is an OLD building!)"

"Grand location, right on the cliffs overlooking the beach and beachfront attractions. The Grand Hotel is Victorian era grandeur with charm but has seen better days. We found a bargain with some trade offs that were worth it for us. "

"The hotel was lovely, however the room itself was pretty tired decor wise, and quite cluttered. Extra pillows and milk / tea etc had to be requested from Reception. The hotel lounge was good value during Happy Hour but charging 80p for a dash of lime in lager was very steep I thought"

"Pub was not able to offer an evening meal for ourselves and 2 guests as they had run out of food and no delivery was expected until the following morning. Breakfast was excellent, there were a few concerns, no brown bread, no bowls or small plates but overall food was good. Room was clean and functional in a good position "

"breakfast superb,lovely surroundings in hotel,staff v.g.and helpful,parking included 1min walk away,all in all we had a very pleasent 2 nts stay,room has quite a few extras which you do not find in most hotels,everything was very clean a pleasure."

"Some refurbishment going on but this did not interfere with our stay. The breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. The bar was well stocked and a marvelous selection of spirits. The room was very well maintained and comfortable. "
