"B&B was so clean and the staff was incredibly helpful. When we needed a cab on our way to the airport, they called and had one waiting before we had even made it to Reception. They helped us when the airline lost our luggage! The restaurant had delicious food and the bar was open late. It was so quiet and peaceful and despite being outside of city center, this wasn’t a problem for us to have a bit of a walk to be able to see the city. Very satisfied with our stay, all-in-all!"

"Hotel Santa Chiara very clean and comfortable, with a traditional Venetian decor and vibe, and is located very conveniently to transportation. Access to the train station (Ferrovia Santa Lucia) requires crossing only one canal bridge and a short walk on the opposite bank. There are numerous vaporetto stations serving principal canal routes a few steps from the front door of the hotel, as are a taxi stand and the bus terminal. The staff is courteous and helpful with making restaurant recommendations and reservations, and with arranging transportation to the airport. Our room was spacious and comfortable and had two windows overlooking the grand canal. The bathroom has modern fixtures and a very nice shower. The hotel has an elevator. The breakfast dining room is pleasant, overlooking nearby canal and pedestrian traffic. Hotel Santa Chiara offers dinner reservations at Hotel Plazzo Stern. The Stern patio is a lovely, secluded and quiet setting for dinner by the Grand Canal and the food and table service is very good. We enjoyed it very much."
