"This hotel was exactly as advertised. A very nice 2-star hotel in the heart of the city. I valued the great location, large clean rooms with 2 king beds, free parking and a courteous front desk team who was likely the owners. There wasn't too much else to it nor did there need to be. I can find my own breakfast and coffee with all the great easts nearby... don't need another 2-start hotel breakfast buffet. Next time I need a night in the City, I will definitely look to return."

"The rooms are incredibly clean and comfortable. My room was a small, Japanese style, pod. It is a great location in the center of SF. It is located on Market Street. There are a lot of street people outside of the hotel. "

"Hotel Garrett was a great find when we came into the City for a Giants game. It is in close proximity to the stadium (we walked to the stadium from the hotel) and lots of restaurants along the way! The staff were awesome; the room was clean and the bed sooo comfortable! We will definitely be back to Hotel Garrett anytime we come back to SF!"

"Great location. Can easily walk to restaurants on union, Lombard st, fisherman’s warf etc. pull out couch and coin laundry were great to have for our family road trip. The best was free parking! Nearly impossible to find in San Fran."

"This property is adorable, room clean and nicely furnished, front desk and housekeeping staff exceptionally nice, and breakfast was delicious. The location is very convenient to transit - just 1-3 blocks from bus, streetcar and historic cable car stops. Yes there are unhoused people in the area, particularly on Market Street, but there are also many community service officers and we never felt unsafe. I would definitely stay here again."
