Hotels in Downtown San Francisco

"Overall it wasn't THAT bad for a quick low cost option. However, it wasn't as close to Union Square as I thought and def some scary folks hanging out side at night in the area (but thats more of an SF thing now a days). Staff was friendly and room itself was clean. hallways and walls looked dated but again, this is what I paid for. "

"Situated very close to public transport including San Francisco's BART rapid transit train station which is linked to the airport (30 min journey) and Market Street which has a range of shops. The location of the property/hotel is also very convenient for walking (if you prefer walking) to a number of key sight-seeing destinations and points of interest etc. "

"A lovely boutique hotel. Older but authentic SF style. Room was comfortable and had a small sitting area with separate TV which was nice for coffee in the morning. The continental breakfast was quite good. Great location near Union Square - lots of shopping, food options within walking distance."

Room was clean and spacious, the bathroom wasn't the largest, but sufficient and clean too. Really easy check-in/out process too and staff were always on hand to help if need be."
