"This has been my favorite property in Salvador Brazil for many years. Unfortunately. This place is turning to any other high end hotel. They have modernized it so it looks more like a resort. However, they have kept the animals, lagoon, and the nature hike. There are monkeys in the trees, coconut trees, etc. the best thing about this place is the continental breakfast! The best breakfast I’ve ever had!"

"The owners and staff are AMAZING ! They are available anytime and willing to help you even on issues that do not concern the Inn. "I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Sotero. The room was very nice, and the bed was beyond comfortable and very big 😊. Breakfast was great, the views of the city were amazing, and it's location is prime between the center of Salvador and the beaches of Lauro De Freitas and some of the southern beaches of Coconut Coast. Proximity to Salvador Shopping also is a huge plus!"

"Great hotel and clean room with good amenities, exactly what we needed for an early flight as it’s a short drive and cheap uber to the airport - we left for the airport at 4am meaning we missed breakfast but they made us up sandwiches and yogurt so we didn’t miss out which was so lovely!!"

"Upon entering the bathroom I saw a small cockroach and another by the main door. There were also ants on the bathroom floor. I let staff know and they asked if I wanted to change rooms. I asked to first see the other room and saw another cockroach in that bathroom as well. There also seemed to be dead mosquitos on the bedroom floor in the main room. A lot of bugs here. What I did like was that it was a 15 minute drive to the airport. There is also a beach within about 2 minutes walking distance. I also appreciated the free breakfast. I also appreciated that I was able to check out 2 hours later, but they only charged me for 1 hour instead of 2. I gave it a 1 because I hate roaches, but I appreciated the other things I mentioned "

"There was little to no cleaning of the room from staff, the power went out with no way for us to get into our room and the night staff member didnt have our keycard eventhough we left it with the day staff. Eventhough he did a good job managing things, he was on his own dealing with the majority. The food was okay and when the power did come back we did get to use the service lift. Our bathroom had mould in ir and the shower head had a lot of limescale and dirt."
