"It was a little confusing to check in since we were not told that check in was at the Lighthouse despite our reservation at Edge but we figured it out. Property is RIGHT on the water and the sunset was perfect. Even though we had a little mishap with the coffee maker in our room, there was coffee in the sitting area with plenty of comfy chairs and a wonderful view of the water. The staff was so friendly and helpful! This is certainly a hidden gem in Ocean City!!! Most definitely will be back!"

"The place is not a 5 star but doesn't pretend to be, it is a beachfront hotel ,Ocean access is excellent. The building is dated but well maintained and clean. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again. And a great indoor and an outdoor pool also."

"The staff was helpful and quick to resolve any issues, the kitchen provided a great way to enjoy a dinner with the kids in a quiet area, the room was clean and very roomy, the pool was cleaned every morning and provided a safe area for our girls to swim, it is located close to grocery stores and very close to the beach. "This older hotel is rightvon the beach, has easy parking and friendly staff. Has no elevator. Good breakfast joint out front, couple of eating places within walking distance. Very clean beach, lovely clean pool are. Freshly painted bright colors. Balcony overlooking pool was nice. Try eating at Crab Bag along main highway, hole in the wall joint with cool local atmosphere and excellent sea food."
