Nice hotel right at the end of the Stoos funicular. Staff were very friendly and the room was clean. Not a lot to the room but plenty of storage space and served us well for a 2 night stay. Plus the views with the balcony doors open were fantastic. My only complaint is they charge for everything! 15 CHF per night just to have a coffee maker in the room, 5 CHF for a kettle, etc. But the shop across the way sells coffee for 3.50 and pastries so we opted for that most mornings. Very nice property in a beautiful part of Switzerland. Friendly staff and lots of areas to walk and enjoy the scenery. Great breakfast options and lots of options for restaurants in addition to the one onsite. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely book again.

Super location and great hotel. Very nice rooms spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to everything. Staff was helpful in recommending things to do and where to go.

this hotel is world class and is the nicest ski hotel I have ever stayed at. Service and the amenities were excellent. the rooms are as good as they get. The mountain is underappreciated as it compares with Lech, Grindewald, etc.

Absolutely amazing stay. Didnt try out the spa but this was an amazing hotel. I believe it was a little slow so the staff upgraded me to a room that faced the lake. Breathtaking views. Anything in the mini fridge is free of charge and breakfast is included. All things that really matter when traveling in an expensive country. Would highly, highly recommend.

The room was really spacious and had an awesome lake view. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They give you a free bus pass to use during your stay. You get on right out front and it takes you to the city center or train station in about 15 minutes. Very easy and convenient. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to our room, make some hot tea, and slip into a cozy robe and slippers. I also thought the price of the room was very reasonable considering how expensive...

We spent a week here for our anniversary and the setting is hard to beat. The resort is spotless, the lake and mountain views are postcard-perfect, and the staff were warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. If you want quiet, clean air, and scenery, this delivers. The tradeoff is isolation. Getting anywhere else in Switzerland means long drives on winding mountain roads, and the access road is single-lane with scheduled up/down windows, so you can’t come and go on a whim. Loved the hiking!

The room was remodeled, and the hotel management took great care in selecting the furniture! I have a rather nice bed at home, but this new bed in the ski lodge was the best bed I have ever slept on! Just glorious night of sleep… and the resultant manger was spot on… his staff was flawless and kind, the food was flavorful and delightful.
