Novotel Gent Centrum

"Our stay at the Novotel Hotel in Ghent, the Netherlands, 15-17 Oct 2025 was excellent. With the exception of a couple of people, overall, the hotel's staff was friendly and hospitable. The photos matched the room -- clean and roomy.
The mirror in the bathroom was a foot higher above my head (5 foot 2 inches) and the lighting was not bright enough. A light in the entrance way was broken, and not fixed during our 2 day stay, even though a cleaning staff member knew and promised to have it fixed. When requested our daily supply of coffee packages, both the front desk (condescending) and the cleaning staff were not readily responsive. BTB Fresno, CA, USA"
"Interesting, imaginative conversion and very successful space. Really friendly staff and nice rooms.
Be aware, and I didnt see it on site, that restaurant and bar does not open on Sundays or Mondays. Staff went out of their way to recommend alternatives, some in locality which were good but pretty busy."
"Perfect location for central Ghent. The hotel was very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of great eating and site seeing options within easy walking distance as well as public transportation close by to get to the train station to visit other cities as well. Bed was bigger than expected which was nice. "
"Excellent central location & short walking distance to attractions, shopping & restaurants. The hotel & room were both clean and smelled fresh. The staff were very friendly & knowledgeable; happily assisted with scheduling taxi transportation to the train station. Breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Highly recommend selecting the breakfast option. Items were fresh & there was an abundance of options. There is also a self-check/pay area for snacks & beverages in the lobby area. Would definitely stay here again! "
