"The main problem for me was cigarette smoke smell in the room combined with a smell of a chemical which was probably used to reduce the smell of the cigarettes. The result was that I could smell both. Luckily I could open the window fully as it was not too cold outside, unluckily though there was a loud dismantling of equipment after some event, and it was around 23:00. The bedding was good though and I managed to have a decent quality sleep"

"Amazing hotel, big rooms and clean rooms. A good variety of restaurants, the Egyptian one is highly recommended. Breakfast is also varied, however, a bit of patience is needed to get the coffee served on the table. Overall, estrene happy with our stay at this hotel. "

"We were only at the Novotel Hotel for an overnight layover for our trip from Cairo to Calgary, so we didn't use any of the amenities at the hotel other than our room, but it was comfortable and the staff were helpful."

"We recently spent one week at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Cairo Heliopolis and had a very pleasant overall experience. The hotel is conveniently located near Cairo International Airport. Although it is somewhat farther from the city center and Giza, this distance allows guests to stay away from the hustle and bustle and heavy traffic of downtown Cairo. Considering current Uber fares (February 2026), it is still worthwhile to stay in this area, even if the trip to downtown takes approximately 30 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. The hotel itself maintains a high standard of accommodation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are consistently polite and friendly. The breakfast offers a wide variety of traditional and international options, including an omelet station, fresh fruit, and a coffee machine. The only concern may be for guests who are sensitive to noise. Rooms facing the main street can be affected by traffic sounds and may not be ideal for light sleepers. We were fortunate to have our room changed to the quieter side of the building on the second day. I hope the management team will consider addressing this issue in the future, perhaps by enhancing soundproofing in the street-facing rooms. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciate the quality of service provided. "

"When booking for more people, you need to add them in the reservation. Otherwise you will be charged for $15 per people. At night the street is very noisy and you can hear the noise from the room till midnight "

"The quality of the Marriott was above and beyond! The food and drinks were excellent but way overpriced. Go out and visit the local seen. Food and drinks are way less than half of the price. Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. "
