"Just returned from a three night stay. Found all staff polite, helpful and very welcoming. We could book trips with them and received a map of area. We're also given a name and number to call if we needed assistance whilst out and about. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety. During peek times they did struggle a little to keep topped up. There rooms were good. We had one leak issue due to the weather too which staff were quick to sort out. The hotel is situated in a great location. Best advise, what's out for the mopeds!"
"The food at this property wasn't good at all, very limited options, the staff wasn't very friendly at all, I had to make a complaint at the front dest, there's a short girl working at the reception desk, who is very rude, I think she doesn't like her job at all, very negative personality. I definitely won't stay there again, also it's away from the city."
"Room was lovely, spacious and worked well for our family of 5. The staff are exceptional and the food was varied and offered vegetarians and picky kids plenty to choose from.
The less good….the pools are either freezing or way too warm. Our kids were pumped for the water park but we ended up hardly using it because the water was too cold. There’s one heated pool which is so warm it’s like a bath - on warm days the kids were overheating in it.
The inside spaces below reception are tired and smelled of damp. A few of our days were impacted by bad weather so events like the mini disco were moved inside to spaces that were just not fit for purpose.
Overall we did have a lovely holiday and enjoyed ourselves, but we wouldn’t return to this hotel if we came back to Marrakesh."
"On arrival we received a Free Welcome Pack & Free Drinks. Extremely good & exceptionally high quality Luxury Hotel. The location is fantastic, minutes walk to the city centre. Amazing to see how CLEAN & Polished this place is and smells like Roses. "
"Friendly and helpful staff. They will help you with luggage to and from your transport service (car service). Car cannot drive to fromt door but if you call the riad they will help tell driver where to go and meet you to help with luggage to riad.
Very safe while close to the outdoor market.
And great spa services!"
"Overall we were quite disappointed in this hotel. It carries the "Savoy" name but is considerably rough around the edges.
One of the four hotel buildings is actually an incomplete building site. The finishings in the rooms are of a quite sub-standard (poor tile grouting, marble still have writing on it from installation, our balcony door would not lock).
The hotel also charges too much for some services, given their quality. For example, the evening buffet cost around £25 per head but the food was overall fairly poor. We only ate there as our flight arrived late. Another example is that the hotel charges £20 per person for 1 hour of hot tub use, even if you have purchased spa treatments. Every other spa I have ever been to would include this for free if you had booked treatments. Cocktails are also exorbitant prices.
The staff were generally very helpful, but no more so than a normal hotel."
