"This hotel is a very new build. Family owned. Everything was new and clean, the rooms are very spacious with a very spacious bathroom to go with it. They had elderly and handicapped people in mind when designing the rooms and building, big wide doors, hallways etc. Migi is one of the staff (family owners) and he was absolutely amazing!! 😊 So friendly, so attentive and makes your stay as easy and hassle free as possible. Location is ok 👍 it's situated more in the rural areas, shops are a little walks away, 15mins. If you have a car then you are all set. All in all, for the price of the room, you get a lot more than what you would normally get in the majority cities like Amsterdam. 10/10 stars in my book. Will definitely come back "

"Il Van der Valk di Hoorn credo sia l'hotel più efficiente del mondo. Pulito e confortevole. Al 14 piano un'area spa con una piccola piscina, una sauna e una palestra. Colazione a buffet strepitosa. Lontano dal centro raggiungibile in auto o in bici fornite dall'hotel. Ottimo ristorante in cui una sera abbiamo cenato. Se non volete pagare la colazione 21,5 euro ci sono 2 bar, al bar al primo piano c'è anche buon cibo. Nella struttura è presente anche un cinema e un casinò. In camera set di cortesi Rituals e phon, bollitore, macchina del caffè e frigo. Tornerò sicuramente nella mia splendida Hoorn e al Van der Valk. "

The restaurant with the sea view is a beautiful place to spend the afternoon. The hotel itself is quiet, warm and welcoming. Highly recommended."
