"Good location, near the harbour in Bowmore Room very good, very clean, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with bath Property is currently changing hands, the sale completed this week As per previous reviews the previous owner served full Scottish cooked breakfast- the new owner is just doing prepared continental breakfast boxes which you help yourself to from the fridge We were not expecting this and were quite disappointed. There is nowhere in Bowmore where you can get breakfast so be aware"

"Everything is always perfect at this hotel. It’s in a great location and from the first contact with the reception staff the whole 5 days were brilliant. Stunning views, beautifully maintained & clean rooms, great spa & pool and very good restaurant/bar food. There are bikes to hire, too. Such a great team of staff but I’m afraid I don’t know their names to thank them individually."

"We had a wonderful stay at the George. The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar is charming and welcoming. We were in a room in the First House which was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the bath in the room added to the charm. Breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of cooked options. Would definitely stay again. "
