"Location is convenient to the attractions of the Inner Harbor and the room was large, clean and the bed was comfortable. On the other hand, the elevators and Internet did not work well at times and the ownership / management philosophy here seems to be "do as little as possible / spend as little as possible." There is serious deferred maintenance as evidenced by rotting wooden exterior trim and peeling paint. Our bathtub had a significant drip that had obviously been going on a long time as the bathtub was stained. The breakfast could have been nice, except food choices were limited and food was not restocked on a timely basis. (It seemed that a certain quantity of bacon and sausage was cooked each morning and when that was gone, there was none available for people eating later.) Overall, we made the best of our three night stay, but would probably not return until we were sure of a better maintained place with a caring management and staff. We do not recommend this place at this time!"
"Very nice property, right off the beach. Very clean and nice size clean rooms and balconies, but some of the trash can were overflowing by the elevators and bottom floor (walk out area to the garage) smelled like wet dog. Don't know if was because of the horrible weather, but noticed a lot less boardwalk traffic (which I loved) than down on 6, 7, and 8th which was jammed packed. Parking for the hotel not the best, but they do have an overflow across the street."
"Room was great. A suite with plenty of room and a huge king bed. Great view of the ocean and the boardwalk.
The horrible surprise was the extra $10 PER NIGHT fee for parking. I was not told that when I made the reservation."
"The room and property was beautiful. The only issue was the restaurant. Service was awful, the food was worse and the prices outrageous
I would advise everyone not to eat there. After seating we were never asked for our drink order. No bread or apps offered. Ordered steak tips rare and they were served Grey colored and well done. My order of seafood over pasta Primavera tasted like water, was served with scampi and when I asked for cheese the waiter had the Mgr come out to verify my request!!?
The steak was sent back and reserved in the same condition. There is no reason to have a high end restaurant if the food is not edible."
"From the time we walked in, it was a language barrier with the house keeping staff. We waited hours for our extra bed. When was time to clean the room, house keeping only cleaned the bathroom. When we reached the front desk, the receptionist was rude and didn’t listen to us.
I got a nasty cut on leg, while coming down from the bed in room 314. I wouldn’t stay there again."
"First room 503 had issue with lights n power , went to front desk and they help change room to 404 and then stay was great ! Love bench view even though weather was not great ."
