"A one hour early check-in is usually doable by the staff in most instances, mainly during the week. Weekends gets harder as the hotel really fills up. All rooms are oceanfront with a great view right on the boardwalk. Room size is much better than most hotels. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and most helpful. A great place to stay when visiting Virginia Beach by yourself, with a loved one, or with your whole family."
"Room was not clean. Shower door didn’t close. Bathroom sink completely clogged. Expedia never sent my booking into the hotel after the GM approved the date change so there was no reservation. I had to pay a slightly higher “walk in” rate. Still waiting on Expedia to refund my original payment. Front desk staff in evening was rude. GM was very helpful however. Never again booking with Expedia and certainly never staying here again. For not much more I could have stayed at a Hampton inn and had way more amenities."
"We had a nice stay the staff was very accommodatingThe smell of marijuana was very strong. Requested the first floor that was handicap accessible, and it did not have a seat for the tub. Also was very hard to get our patio open."
"We experienced an upstairs leak in our room. We were given a lame excuse as to why their was leak from maintenance and that there was nothing they could do to keep it from happening. We were moved to another room after the incident occurred twice within hours of each other. It was a bigger room with a bigger bathroom. We finished our vacation with no more problems. The front desk people were good... the maintenance staff is pretty much a joke. Great beach and boardwalk view. And free parking with many happy hour spots within walking distance."
