"My wife and I visited Quebec for our wedding anniversary, and we could not have had a better stay. The hotel has a lot of character, felt very premium, and every staff member was friendly and helpful.
The pool and hot tub were fun and clean. The restaurant had great food and service and was relatively inexpensive. Room service was delivered promptly. We have not tried the breakfast buffet due to time constraints, but we enjoyed the complementary in-room espresso.
We got a suite with an interior facing balcony. We were able to watch the show/concert from our balcony alongside other visitors. The indoor pool/courtyard is a great escape from the winter cold (a resort-like stay to escape the cold without leaving Canada), though, we went there in April and I'm not 100% sure if the pool is open in the winter (but I don't see why not). Beautiful hotel, beautiful city. We will definitely come back to the same hotel when we visit the Quebec again."
"The staff was outstanding but I can't see myself staying here again. The hotel is designed in a bizarre manner - it's incredibly long with check-in/breakfast at one end - you end up walking an incredible length to get to/from your room. I checked - it was about half a kilometer to walk from our room to the dining area and back.
Our room was clean and such, but we didn't have any glasses when we arrived (I walked to the dining area to get some) - and I couldn't control the temperature - at least I couldn't figure out how to control the temp. "
"Room was very nicely decorated. Couch and the room overall had a strange smell. There was only enough hot water for one shower in the morning which was shocking. There was nothing offered but a sorry to hear when it was reported that there was no hot water."
