"The hotel looked a bit tired. The room was fine but the shower didn’t get hot. It seemed to only be a fault in our room. These things happen but it took a long time and a lot of going up and down from reception by us to get another room with a hot shower. We had a brilliant view though."
"The property is situated in the perfect location for visiting Oban. Sunsets from the Perle's patio are clearly a popular time to visit as it filled up with people enjoying a cocktail (Oban Whisky, we'd assume) and the breath taking view of the sunset over a lovely harbor and bay."
"I loved the ‘old-world’ atmosphere and the attitude of trust placed in the guests. Our room was so quiet and peaceful. We dined in Markie Dans in the evening and I loved the friendliness, the food, and the toe-tapping Scottish music played by a young accordion player. "Our twin room was quite small, but,clean and adequate. The hotel is centrally located, everything is within walking distance. The patio overlooks the harbour and is lovely to watch the sunsetting. The staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. I will certainly return. "
