"I think the bad reviews are from people with high expectations. The bed was comfortable, the tv worked, the shower worked. Overall a good place to stay if you need to get out early to the airport."
"I booked the more expensive room for the balcony but ended up on the ground floor. My not private “patio” was right on the street and honestly I would have preferred not having a sliding door to the street. Rooms are also very dark. The lobby, bar, and location are excellent but there are much nicer options for far less on downtown Phoenix."

"Beautiful newly remodeled hotel. Some parts were still being remodeled. But the rooms are villa style so very spaced out. I like that you can park your car right in front of your room. The pool is heated. Well staffed at the pool for drinks/ lunch. Feels like vacation. "
"Our room was not ready at check in time at 3pm. We left after waiting 1 1/2 hrs as we had to return our rental car. When we returned after 5: 30 we were told our room was ready but there was a cleaning lady still in our room! Since when does 1 room take 3 hours to clean! I will never stay at a Green Tree Inn again."
"Pool was filthy. We stayed in two rooms over three days. Rooms were clean. Pool area was not. I asked 4 times that the pool be cleaned. They finally cleaned it the morning we checked out. Bar at pool was never open. Fountain worked less than half the time. The spa was hot, but the jets did not work at all. Debris and trash all around pool. The parking lot was littered with trash. I asked to speak to the owner and was told she was “in a meeting and didn’t visit with guests.” Manager was supposed to call me. No one called to follow up. None of the ice machines worked properly. Customer service was nonexistent. Under 3 Palms, this was a very clean property. I’ve stayed more than 50 nights over the years. May not be back. "
"Love this resort! It’s beautiful with great amenities (multiple pools, golf). Unfortunately we had an issue with one of two rooms, which couldn’t be immediately repaired.. but they were fair in offering a discount. Will definitely stay again"
