"Place was fantastic! Had some construction going on and tested the smoke alarms for. 2 hours one of the days but it is a very nice place to stay. Restaurant on site did not disappoint. Would definitely stay here again!"
"Property was in a good location for us to be able to go just from the airport to the hotel to the cruise ship the next day. The biggest issue was the room and the amenities of the room and the bed coverings. We only had two pillows per bed we asked for more. They said they didn’t have any. then we realized they didn’t even put top sheets on the bed. There was no duvet. We had one thin blanket on each bed. It was beyond ridiculous. "
"Pool nice. Buffet breakfast excellent. Rooms very clean and nice. Grounds and Consecha restaurant outside area needs an upgrade. Birds are a major nuisance while you’re eating. Check in was slow. All staff very pleasant. "
"The check-in process was confusing and poorly managed. Despite the hotel listing stating that "Front desk staff will greet guests on arrival," this was not the case. I also received several unprofessional requests for payment information via message; as a security precaution, I do not share sensitive financial data through unverified channels.
While the property is well-located and easy to find, the room quality was unacceptable:
Hygiene: The floors were sticky in several spots.
Essentials: The room was not stocked with toilet paper.
Security: Most concerningly, the room door did not lock. I was forced to carry all my valuables with me every time I left the room.
To conclude my stay, I left a hat in the room and called ahead to arrange a pickup. When I arrived, nothing had been coordinated. After waiting 20 minutes for staff to contact maintenance, I was told the item could not be found.
Due to the lack of basic security and poor communication, I cannot recommend this stay. Overall: 1 out of 5."
