"I cannot imagine staying at a better ryokan. The property is beautiful and immaculate. The staff ran to greet us on the street and was very welcoming and attentive throughout our visit. Miyu was our incredible hostess and she was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. The room comfortable and clean. I hope we have an opportunity to return."
"The hotel is very nice and the satff very helpful. It has stairs that you have to use to use to connect from on e tower to the other. The onsen is basic, it has only one pool and all the ammenities are in another floor ( it does. not male any sense)
We have sent our luggage and it was perfect!
The meals are great"
"Came here for the second time, this time with a friend. Definitely enjoyed the public baths as well as Yunessun/Mori no Yu next door.
Recommend at least two nights to fully enjoy the scenery and the amenities at the hotel.
Staff were once again extremely nice whenever we had questions. Definitely would come again if I'm revisiting the area!"
"Excellent stay! Beautiful hotel, spotless rooms, and outstanding service. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made our visit truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!"
"This is a dream hotel. Truly. Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out. The staff was incredible-we felt like family, and they were so attentive and helpful. As Americans, this was our first ryokan experience and hopefully not our last because when I tell you they take care of you, I mean it earnestly. Our check in process was done in the dining room with a cold beverage and a mochi treat.
We were then shown around the property as we made our way to the room and the room is gorgeous! There were no words other than a dream hotel room. Everything was perfect and beautiful and the view of the mountains was magical. It’s the perfect place to reset if you are traveling in Japan. I wish we would have stayed longer. We did the private onsen room so we had the bath on the balcony and I think in the 1 night we stayed I took 4 baths hahaha. It was so nice. My husband and I also ventured into the private onsen together and that was just as lovely too.
We did the dinner and breakfast and I’m so glad we did. They fed us so well. The food was the best we had in Japan. We left feeling very full but in the best way.
Thank you Suiun for being the most magical part of our Japan trip. We simply adored you."
