"We have stayed here several times and find the hotel to be quite a convenient location, very close to the train station, several shopping centers, the 7-11 and Lawson are right across the street and Family Mart is on the 2nd floor of the property, and lots of places to eat. Also allows you to control the temperature of the room with AC and heat.
The hotel is nice, rooms are clean and staff is very helpful and pleasant. We enjoy the breakfast buffet which has a selection of Japanese, American or continental dishes.
The Tokyo Skytree is a nice view in the evening and is a nice walk. "
"Hotel was just a few minutes walk from the train station. Free breakfast was a nice touch, and everything's clean and in good condition.
There is only 1 lift for the hotel, so take note during peak check-out hours. "
"This property met our expectations. For the price point, it was the hotel that we needed. We do not spend a lot of time in our hotel rooms when we travel, so it was everything we expected and needed in Tokyo. The Ryogoku area was great. Nice, quiet and peaceful at night after days of hustle and bustle in Tokyo. Nice neighborhood with a few excellent small restaurants. The Ryogoku Station is literally right next to the hotel. So convenient and is a great connector to all main lines. 7-11 is almost in the lobby (just outside) - so handy. Queen bed was very comfortable. Outstanding water pressure, temperature and shower. Space is small as most hotels in Tokyo. Room was hot until we reached out and the staff explained to turn off the “A/C” button on our room controls. After that, with the window vent open, temperature was very comfortable. Major highlight was a spectacular view of Skytree. Wonderful at night with its illumination. If you are looking for five stars and a pool, go downtown … but for the price point, this is a great hotel. We stayed four nights and would book again."
"This is our second time at this hotel because of the wonderful experience we had last year.
Hotel is right beside the train station, which is very convenient for travelers. From Narita airport you can take the Keisei Sky Access (not Skyliner) directly to this hotel.
Nearby restaurant - Kura, and hotel is right beside Tokyo Skytree, and Tokyo Solamachi shopping centre which includes Kirby Cafe, Uniqlo, Loft, Plaza, and Ontisuka Tiger.
Right beside Life supermarket, which is an excellent advantage!
In terms of service and amenities - staff were very helpful with room upgrade, and extremely friendly. Amenities are top notch for personal hygiene, and kids pajamas and slippers can be easily requested. There are also self-service kiosks which can be used to exchange your Japanese bills to coins.
Laundry services are self serve and easy to use either with coins or paying with a physical IC card. Vending machine rooms also have the ice machines and microwave available.
The room was clean, spacious for our family. I think this would accommodate well for a family with two young kids. If you have older kids, you may need to review the room options more closely before booking.
The staff service was one of the main reasons we came back here, and when we come to Tokyo again, we will definitely stay here! Thank you again!! "
"Very convenient location with tons of dining options around. Walkable to transportation. Their breakfast buffet is awesome! Definitely will come back. But just remember to book a non smoking room. It is out first time to travel to Japan, so we are not aware of the smoking condition in Japanese hotel. We accidentally booked smoking room. The smell is very hard to bear for non smokers. So just be aware of that, because the hotel room could be fully booked and very hard to change at the time. "
"the area was really nice, the room we booked was slightly a little bigger than the regular japan hotel rooms (which are tiny).
there was a 7 eleven near the hotel which was convenient for a late or early pick me up. The staffs were very helpful as well.
You can also rent a bike and the staff can assist you with creating an account. they can also help you book a taxi. You can book a taxi to the nearest station or to Ueno station if you are going to catch the Kesei train to the airport or vice versa (it was less than 1500 yen).
The view of the skytree was also amazing both at night and also during the daytime. the closest station was about 7 to 10 mins away (depending on the metro line you are taking) from the hotel you. There was more food options and convenience store just across the bridge from the hotel."
