"I recently stayed at YOTELPAD Stratford and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
When we arrived, the cleanliness was not up to standard. The glasses in the room were dirty, and despite reporting this, housekeeping never came to resolve the issue. We also found someone else’s hair in the shower, and there was noticeable dust on the tables and kitchenette area, which made the room feel neglected.
The room itself is extremely small—much smaller than it appears in the photos. As soon as you open the door, you’re immediately in the sink area, which feels cramped and poorly laid out.
Another issue was the WiFi, which was very slow and unreliable throughout our stay. On top of that, at around 11:45pm, the fire alarm went off, completely disrupting our sleep. When we called reception, we were told it was triggered by another room, but it still took a long time for us to settle back down afterward.
The only real positive is the location, which is convenient. However, overall, I don’t think it offers good value for money. In comparison, Premier Inn is more spacious, more affordable, and a much better experience overall.
For what it is, YOTELPAD Stratford simply isn’t worth the price. "
"We booked an accessible room for my wife who is in a wheelchair. The room was the least accessible room I've stayed in. Very cramped around the doorway leaving very little room to manoeuvre. Price was extraordinary considering the room quality. The room was tatty I would say is the best word. The bed was not very comfortable either. Bathroom was not too bad in terms of accessibility but I would certainly not recommend it."
"Stayed in executive room 4th floor with balcony. Spacious and clean with a very comfortable king size bed and sofa. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower. Nice range of tea and coffee facilities. Conveniently located for O2 using DLR two stop to Canning Town then jubilee line one stop. Lovely cooked breakfast available. Impressive interior with opulent central stair case. Would stay again. "
"Great location for shopping, dining, and transport around London. Room was plenty large for two and the morning breakfast had good variety of options. Laundry room available free of charge, with soap available at front desk for 50p. Will stay again!"
"Great hotel for the Excel Centre, perfect for any business travelers that are doing an exhibition at the Excel. Decent pool, steam room, sauna, and the rooms were nice. Cleaning staff actually cleaned the rooms everyday and the staff were nice. "
