"Very clean comfortable room. Conveniently adjoined to the airport. Very friendly efficient staff."

"Complained 8 times about the noise. Our room was situated at the end of the corridor next to the service door. The housekeepers parked 3 trollies outside our door. The noise was incessant and relentless from 0615 until 1030 (banging/slamming/chatting/laughing) during which I went out and asked them to stop 4 times. The noise continued until late afternoon. I called reception and asked to speak to the duty manager. I was told 'there isn't one. It's a weekend'. We have both travelled professionally for over 20 years. This was the most disrespectful, rude and obnoxious noise we've experienced in our careers. Eventually somebody with authority stopped the noise at about 1700. Do not stay in any room ending -01/02/03/04. Front desk staff member who checked is out at midnight was also arrogant and rude (arguing with us) but the rest of the staff we encountered were brilliant. Other than that the hotel is lovely and would highly recommend based on food and decor. "

"Wonderful property with peaceful surrounds, spacious design inside and out, and good amenties. However it is spoiled by an obvious management policy that's shoved in your face the minute you enter the property that you are not allowed to bring your own alcohol and if youy do, it will be confiscated if found. I mean really, it's extremely off putting and petty. Even worse their wine line list is ordinary - at least provide the choice to spend money to buy premium wine to enjoy with your dinner if you so choose. The attitude converyed by and extensive rules list of what is not allowed (no bluetooth speakers!) detracts from what is otherwise a beautiful environment and facilities is self defeating."

"I specifically booked as have stayed at Raddison in Edinburgh and Cape Town. I messaged them 2 weeks in advance requesting Spa appts…as arriving on morning flight. The shuttle driver was super creepy, the reception staff made no effort to accommodate me, spa fully booked… turned out hotel eas barely occupied…when taken to my room??? Expecting a Radddison experience… I was dismayed to find a travel lodge box… thanks goes to reception on evening shift who “upgraded” me… Just felt conned. "I travelled to the Radisson Gautrain for a business trip with my daughter. The staff, particularly Precious, Ursula and Blessing were particularly helpful with the check-in and our entire stay. My daughter was also given a special treat for her birthday!! The shuttle was also very helpful for moving around the area and trips to Mandela square and the mall."
