"The Atlantis hotel is showing its age a little now. We’ve been staying here regularly for about 10 years and it could do with some upgrades. But it’s in a great location, close to the train station, walking distance to many good restaurants, not far from Spencer st DFO and the price is very good."
"The location is outstanding, so no need to have a car. CBD, southbank, train station, all very close and in walking distance. Note that parking is expensive and hard. Its either a carpark that allows you one entry one exit per pay, or the hotels valet ($80 a day).
The hotel itself is a bit dated, but still has a luxury feeling. Great gym and great spa. The rooms are a bit small, so if you need to take business calls from the room - take this into consideration. Two people cannot work from the room together."
"The location of the Meriton is perfect. Very easy access to all the main streets in Melbourne and five minutes away from the main coach station which adjoins the train station. Inside which is a major food retail outlet.
Staff are excellent always willing to help with any queries or concerns."
"Great location. Waiting on new lifts, so presently there are limited lifts and quite crowded. Clean, nice friendly staff and centrally located. Breakfast is very good but coffee is poor. Tea is very good, lots of options. Would still recommend even with the lift issues "
