The Westin New Orleans

"The Westin New Orleans has a perfect location and we would definitely consider coming back. The room was spacious and had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed on the 11th floor, which offered a really nice view.
The one disappointment was the water pressure , it was very low at both the faucet and the shower, which was a bit frustrating.
The lobby is lovely, and the staff was accommodating. Valet parking was on the pricey side. We received some vouchers, which was a nice gesture, but unfortunately we didn't have time to use them during our stay.
Overall, a great experience and a hotel I'd happily return to."
"A modern interior for sure. Bathroom had a rain shower that got the job done but not sure if I liked it. Great TV channels though didn't watch much. The location can't be beat. So close to the French Quarter yet much quieter. I'd probably stay here again"

There was no a single bottle of water in the room. Considering the room rate, this is how Marriott is saving money?
Room was on the 21st floor. There was no hot water. I called for assistance and was told someone will come to check. For? To tell me there is no hot water, that perhaps the broiler is in basement and it takes 15 minutes of running and wasting water to get lukewarm water to shower. Because that’s exactly what happened. Not good because I was traveling with someone else who had the same issue and did the same. I can imagine how much water is being wasted considering the number of rooms on this property.
I chose to accept the higher rate due to location. Not good."
